I would imagine that "new" amateur photographers tend to take a lot of photos of household objects. I'm learning workings of my camera and lenses, so I promise more interesting content to come.

::laughs:: Oh my gosh, that last one--with the faucet running--is almost identical to a thirty-second exposure I took for my first photography class many years ago. (The assignment was "night photography"--hence the 30 seconds.)
So--yeah--I guess the household object thing is pretty universal.
I like yours, though. :)
